The Center for Health Behavior Research & Innovation is expanding its capacity to provide statistical support and consulting for CHB Affiliates and their trainees. Beginning in August, a new faculty member specializing in biostatistics will join the center to offer expertise in research design, data analysis, and grant development.

Support for Grant Development and Research Projects
CHB will offer expert biostatistics support for Affiliates preparing grant applications or launching new research projects. Affiliates may request consultation on study design, data analysis planning, power calculations, and statistical methods. The goal is to enhance the quality and competitiveness of externally funded proposals and projects across all areas of health and behavior research.
Workshops and Training
In addition to grant-focused consulting, the center will offer periodic workshops and office hours on key topics in research design and statistical analysis. These opportunities will be available to students and trainees of CHB affiliates, supporting the development of foundational skills and promoting best practices in quantitative research.
How to Access Support
More information about statistical support services, consulting availability, office hours, and upcoming workshops will be posted as these offerings become available in Fall 2025. CHB Affiliates are encouraged to check back for updates and take advantage of these new resources as they are announced.
