EVENT HIGHLIGHTS
On April 10, 2025, the Institute for Veterans and Military Families (IVMF) and Academic Affairs hosted the inaugural Voices of Service event at the National Veterans Resource Center. The showcase highlighted the diverse and impactful work taking place across Syracuse University and the Central New York community on behalf of veterans and military-connected populations.
The event featured strong participation from CHB Affiliates, who shared research projects, curricular innovations, program initiatives, and community engagement efforts focused on the needs and experiences of veterans and military-connected families. Faculty, students, trainees, and community partners contributed a wide range of posters, reflecting ongoing and planned research, course development, and applied programming.
We thank everyone who contributed to this successful event and helped foster new connections and collaborations across campus and the broader community. Posters from Voices of Service will be hosted online by IVMF, with more information to be shared soon.
