EVENT HIGHLIGHTS
On April 18, 2025, the Center for Health Behavior Research & Innovation and the Interdisciplinary Neuroscience Program at Syracuse University co-hosted the annual Neuroscience & Health Behavior Research Day. This event brought together faculty, trainees, and students from across campus to share new research at the intersection of brain, behavior, and health.
This year’s theme, From Molecules to Minds, featured a keynote address by Dr. Yingxi Lin, Professor and Division Chief at the UT Southwestern Medical Center, who spoke on how nature and nurture converge in the nucleus to shape the brain.

The conference showcased interdisciplinary research spanning molecular, behavioral, and clinical approaches. Presenters represented departments from the College of Arts and Sciences, Falk College, and the College of Engineering and Computer Science.
We thank all presenters and attendees for contributing to a productive day of discussion, networking, and knowledge sharing. This annual event continues to highlight the strength of interdisciplinary research at Syracuse University. We look forward to building on this year’s success and welcoming participants to next year’s event!
